Just install the included batteries in the transmitter, and use the double-sided tape to secure it to the mailbox. Then install the included batteries in the receiver and place it inside your house (up to 150 feet away from the transmitter). The receiver can be placed on a table, installed on a wall, or moved from room to room. The set includes the receiver, transmitter, all required batteries and double-sided tape.
